Congratulations! We just found out we're expecting again too- though I'm about 5 weeks behind you. Isn't it exciting? :) Yay! I wish you an long and boring/uneventful pregnancy!

Bozoette Mary

Ah, she is a beautiful girl! Maybe the lions will purr and let you pet them.

Pixie

OMG, you use soft as a verb too! People always think I'm nuts when I tell them my son started telling us to "soft" his arm or ear to help him get to sleep. (He was 3-ish) My second son doesn't even know it's not really a verb or a noun. ("Give my back a soft, Mommy.")

The #1 thing I have had to keep repeating to myself since #2 was born is, "He's not the same baby, he's not the same baby." Because I keep thinking, "He should do X, because #1 always did X." But they are fairly different kids.

I'm so happy for you.

Angie

Love the pic of Katie. She is so thoughtful and precious. Her comments about love teared me up. My 2year-old loves the "woo-hoo" song too and loudly sings the woo-hoos. She also is fascinated with public potties.

I am pg, due in January- I love you pregnant belly. I can't wait for that, not just looking fat. Where did you get your skirt? It is very cute.

Angie

you look great! wish you a happy & healthy pregnancy

Laura

Great post, great picture.

Re: potty training -- My just-turned-three year old is also not yet potty trained. We're having some success with a potty chart -- each time she goes wee wee she gets a sticker and every so many stickers she gets a prize. This seems to work better when she knows what the prize is. But she was getting birthday gifts recently, so the thrill of the "potty prize" temporarily wore off and it took two weeks for her to go on the potty nine times. Whereas before she would fill the chart in under a week.

Jana

Awwww, that was beautiful.

Maybe there AREN'T any lions! Only ecstasy. You know?

Suzanne

Pretty!

Jen

Jessica, you look FABULOUS! And I love the picture of Katie.

stjinnova

Are you familiar with the Bella Band? Because I'm about a week ahead of you, and also showing, and my pants don't fit in the waist. So I went and bought one of these things yesterday - it looks like a tube top and lets you wear your pants undone - it is pure genius.

Kris

Congrats - you look fantastic

TB

Wow. That was three great posts in one.

And you look (and seem from your writing) so happy and content. Good for you.

camille

That's such a great post! I've never heard of a child being as sweet and as thoughtful as Katie. And you look beautiful!
